Temporary Accounting/Payroll Clerk needed for expanding organization. Position is in Honolulu, therefore only applicants who presently reside in Hawaii will be considered. All out of state or country applicants will not be reviewed nor will they be responded to.

Temporary Accounting/Payroll Clerk Job Duties:

  • Data entry (10 key) to support A/R, A/P and Payroll
  • Reconciliation of balances, records and documents
  • Preparing summaries, statements and reports
  • Maintenance of electronic and paper accounting records
  • Contribute to a team effort by performing other duties as requested

  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Apply bookkeeping practices and procedures
  • Apply basic accounting techniques
  • Operate electronic and/or other standard office equipment
  • Work independently and exercise judgment
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a time sensitive, fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Competent or able to learn Quickbooks

Requirements:

  • You must presently live and reside in Hawaii
  • Must have AP/AR experience
  • Must have 3-5 years solid experience working for an organization in the role of Accountant, Staff Accountant, Accounting Clerk, or some other full-time dedicated accounting position.
  • Must have excellent communication skills

Other information:

  • Hours will be 30-40 hours per week
  • Duration of employment: 3 months
  • Rate: $17 per hour
