Our therapeutic team of mental health professionals, to include therapists and paraprofessionals, works intensely with children and their families to improve their quality of life and relationships. Children who have been displaying behavioral or emotional challenges in the home and/or community may benefit from this service. Services occur in the home or community, approximately 4-6 hours per week, for up to 5 months.
This service is a time-limited focused approach that incorporates evidenced based practices for youth with mental health challenges. Intensive In-Home Therapy works to preserve the youth in their current living environment or to assist in the reunification of the youth and their families.
All of our Department of Health (DOH) services are through a referral from the Family Guidance Center.
