Our therapeutic team of mental health professionals works with youth and young adults and their families to support individuals with mental health challenges to maintain quality of life, relationships and transition to adulthood.
This service is a time-limited focused approach that incorporates evidenced based practices to support individuals to live as independently as possible. Intensive Independent Living Skills program focuses on maximizing the participants ability to manage their illness and participate in opportunities related to functional, social, educational and vocational opportunities.
- We will assist individuals by connecting them to the community resources needed to support their independence.
- Our clinical team work with youth/young adult to develop individualized skills needed to assist with independent living.
- Our team will explore individual strengths, abilities and interests to assist with discovering career goals and vocational skills required to obtain future employment.
- Our clinical team will work with parents and other family members to coach and guide a young person through the transition from adolescence to adulthood.
