Hawaii Behavioral Health’s branches on the four major islands offer Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services. Our ABA program serves children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and their families. Services can include one-to-one learning opportunities, as well as social skills groups.
We offer a variety of services across different settings including school, community, clinic and home. Our programs empower clients through a provision of services that are individualized, child and family-centered, strengths-based, culturally relevant, and outcome focused.
Our therapeutic team of mental health professionals provides treatment and support to youth (ages 3 – 20) with co-occurring mental health needs. Our approach incorporates evidenced based practices either in-home or in the community, and is designed to enhance the family’s capacity to sustain the youth in their current living environment.

The service helps individuals with developmental disabilities acquire, retain and improve skills that allow them to be more self-sufficient, engage in opportunities that expand personal interests, and attain employment.
In order to meet the desired outcomes and goals, an individualized plan will be set forth for each client. Training and Consultation services may be provided to clients with high levels of challenging or maladaptive behaviors.
